We’ve put together the Wallflower ‘Sunset Collection’ partly for the sensational array of colours, but also for their magically enticing fragrance. Our Wallflower Sunset Collection prefers cooler temperatures and will flower twice during the year – in spring and then again in autumn. These resilient hardy perennials look equally lovely in garden borders or patio pots. Collection comprises ‘Sunset Apricot’, ‘Sunset Purple’ and ‘Sunset Primrose’. Height and spread: 30cm (12″). Supplied as plug tray plants.

Pot up wallflower plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on free draining soil in full sun. Erysimum plants are tolerant of most neutral or alkaline soils and will even cope well on very poor soils.

Feed and water plants until they are fully established. Trim back wallflowers after flowering to prevent them from becoming leggy.
